Come closer; look closer, see through the veil of the flesh.
As Moses saw the bush burning and drew closer to see such a thing. How could a bush hold a fire and not be burned?

Exodus tells the story of a nation suddenly being removed from everything familiar. Israel was called out of slavery as the strong hand of the Lord God delivered them out of Egypt. Awesome. Amazing. We read the finished story as observers and see what a marvelous deliverance this was for the nation of Israel. We applaud the Lord’s strength on their behalf and oft times question the lack of faith of those that complained and questioned God in the process. Hmmm….. easy enough to criticize them as we stand thousands of years after the fact.
