As a group of us prayed tonight, I heard the Lord say 'rehearse'. As the Holy Spirit developed the thought in my mind, I saw a stage or set on which actors perform. The Lord asked me, "What are you rehearsing? You will act out what you rehearse."

The Lord brought this verse to my mind. He had me look slowly over the verse and He showed me that it was not sin that kept Him from gathering them under His wing, but their will. Look at the progression of the verse:

God's leading vs. natural reasoning (and a blue shirt)

Today the Lord had me wear a beautiful blue shirt with silver thread through it to church. I chose a plain brown pair of pants. I knew the Lord was going to use this shirt to speak to us prophetically at church. He revealed the message to me as a group of us prayed before service began. The brown pants spoke of our humanity – we’re made of dirt. But the blue spoke of the glory that He has covered us with as we are His children.

Open your mouth wide

The moment I opened my mouth to worship this morning I felt the Holy Spirit flood over me. Then He gave me the following word.

Open your mouth wide – to give and to receive. As your mouth sounds out worship, I am able to fill you to a greater measure. Yea, thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death – a dry place – I will open my mouth wide and I will fear no evil. I will open my mouth wide and I will rejoice and be glad. I will open my mouth wide and I will dance upon injustice.
