But one who prophesies is helping others grow in the Lord, encouraging and comforting them. - 1Corinthians 14:3 NLT

Judges and Courtrooms

Compelling evidence. Guilty as charged. The judgment is fitting for the crime.

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. (I John 2:2)

In the courts of man, the penalty fits the crime. Mercy does not speak.

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

There is a higher court that transcends this human court. Mercy is its voice. Mercy extends to the soul of every man. Every man, whether he is the most refined, upstanding citizen or whether he sits on death row.

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

Consider the judgments of your own heart - the court that operates within your mind. Do you operate as a court of man, or do you agree with the highest court of heaven? When one has wronged you, is he guilty as charged? Is his judgment fitting? Or do you extend mercy and forgiveness?

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

And finally; how do you process your own sin? Do you bear your judgment or do you extend God's mercy?

I am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven you for His name's sake. (I John 2:12)

Enter into His courts today. Agree with His verdict. From the most righteous one to the vilest sinner - all sin is paid for. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. All must personally receive this forgiveness. But you can extend mercy to all as Christ died for all.
